Interesting article by Malcolm Gladwell on how Steve Jobs’ real insight was editorial rather than inventive. The article is about the genius in taking what’s in front of you, selecting the best, and ruthlessly refining it. In reading the article, I was made aware of how much photography - more than a lot of other things that I work on - challenges and nurtures such an editorial mindset.
